Saturday Spoils

We are pleased to confirm that after extensive contact with Tenacious Games, the manufactuer of The Spoils, The Games Shop will be running weekly sanctioned events every Saturday from 5pm to 9pm, starting this Saturday 6th October - to our knowledge this is the first organised play in the UK since the original launch last November.

We are also currently talking to TG about running some Invitational Qualifiers and maybe some larger events involving our European partners - as always this will depend on demand but we'll see how it goes!

Initial interest in The Spoils has been good - if you want to know more why not join us in store to find out!

DC HeroClix: Starro Attacks - Join Us For The Challenge!

The Games Shop invites you to take part in the biggest in-store event ever offered for DC HeroClix.  The Starro Attacks World HeroClix event gives you a chance to take your game to the next level.

During the five weeks of Starro Attacks each tournament is run as a Sealed Event using game pieces from DC HeroClix: Justice League.  Players buy two Justice League boosters to build from each week of the Tournament - there are five weeks in all, culminating with the Store Final on Sunday, 21st October - each event starts at 12 noon.

Magic The Gathering: Summer of Magic Continues!

Following the busy Summer of Magic we are pleased to confirm that the 4pm to 10pm slot  every Sunday will remain for Magic, running the following formats:

 Week 1  Booster Draft 
 Week 2  Extended 
 Week 3  Standard
 Week 4  Extended

We'll also be hosting the County Championship Event on Sunday 28th October.

Friday Night Magic continues every Friday starting at 7pm prompt.

......and don't forget the Lorwyn Pre Release on 29th September (and Release Event on Sunday 14th October).

So if you haven't yet played at our newly refurbished Gaming Centre it is well worth a visit (and benefit from our Frequent Player reward scheme, vending machines and more!)
